Locals dive in at SA Masters National Swimming Championships

All swam extremely well and brought back gold, silver and bronze medals

The 37th SA Masters National Swimming Championships took place  from March 9  – 12 at the University of the Western Cape 50m Indoor Pool.

The Open  Water Championships took place at the beautiful setting at Elgin River Lodge Dam.

The pool events were organised by Western Province Aquatics and Cape Town Masters Swimming Club.

The Open Water Swim was organised by Derek Frazer of Big Bay Events.

Four swimmers from Winterton were part of the Synergy Masters Swimming team from KZN.

The swimmers were Jani Maritz, Alison Mcbey, Sally Ralfe and Ann Gray.

All swam extremely well and brought back gold, silver and bronze medals in both the pool events and the Open Water Event.
