A car and a bakkie were involved in a head-on collision on the N11 this afternoon (February 20).
The crash took place just before the Elandslaagte turn-off.
The driver of the bakkie was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed using the jaws-of-life.

The bakkie driver was badly injured and was rushed to hospital by ambulance.
