DUNDE KZN: Speaker gets proactive and helps to spruce up Sibongile location

"This is not a once-off thing; we will continue cleaning all dumping sites in our area, as well as around Endumeni," said Speaker Nsibande.

Endumeni Municipality Speaker Andile Nsibande embarked on a clean-up campaign in Ward 4, Sibongile, last week Wednesday.

“I am part of this community and with that said, when it’s time to get down and dirty in the name of cleaning our dumping sites, I am not afraid to do so and I don’t want any special treatment. I am just an ordinary man who doesn’t work as part of a political party, but rather as a member of society,” said Nsibande.

He added that the main aim of this initiative was to get to know each other as a community and also clean up the environment. “This is not a once-off thing; we will continue cleaning all dumping sites in our area, as well as around Endumeni. I ask that you inform me of places such as these that we can clean up. “Seeing that the grass also needs to be cut, I will be contacting the municipality regarding this, as people pass this passageway daily and anything could happen.
