Update: N3 still closed
Arrests have been made and police are currently dealing with the matter
The N3 near Van Reenen is still closed after truckers blocked the highway in the early hours of this morning (December 3).
According to officials on scene, no looting has taken place.
It is advised that travellers stay off the N3 in the area. Alternative routes should be used.

According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan, arrests have been made and the SAPS are currently dealing with the matter.
