Large corporations make life extra difficult [LETTER]

Large corporations make life extra difficult - manufacturers are not thinking of consumers during these hard economic times.

Madam – I have not checked of late, as to whether letters are printed relaying points of happy, sad or general news to your readership.

When I was doing my column I often raised points of possible contention but of general public interest.

This included poor quality self-service tapes of large corporations.

Also, the fact that ATM machines often are not screened from the sun, making their use extra difficult.

Well today we went to buy dog food and were totally gobsmacked at prices.

Through the roof they are! Do dog food manufacturers not think that in these hard economic times dog owners may not be able to absorb the new price, because their income is restricted?

The result could be dogs being abandoned on the roads or dumped at our already overstrained SPCA around the country.

Surely you manufacturers can take a big less profit, forgo the company director’s new Benz and fat Christmas bonus?

What about thinking of the citizens who sustain the country by going to work everyday?

They keep the economy going and their joy and home safety is their dog!
