Join in the fun run and shavathon this coming Saturday

With October 2021 being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ladysmith Women’s Forum and Ladysmith Hospice Association will host a fun run and shavathon. The idea is to raise funds for cancer patients and their families.

The beneficiaries are being identified by the Ladysmith Hospice Association and will assist in the distribution of the funds collected.

Fun Run, Cycle or Shavathon

You are invited to join the forum in this initiative by participating in the fun run, cycle or shavathon.

The forum is hosting almost 40 stalls, ranging from food to clothes, shoes, cosmetics and toys. Raffle tickets will be available, with great prizes up for grabs.

Dress in pink

Bring your family and friends! Dress up in pink to show your solidarity to those who have lost loved ones. Support the brave survivors and the patients undergoing treatment.

Clear your calendar on October 30, 2021, and spend a fun-filled day with us at The Square in Harrismith Road, Ladysmith.

Pre-registration

Look out for the LWF team at AK’s Hyper and The Square for the pre-registration between 4.30pm and 6pm on Friday, October 29, 2021.

On-the-day stalls times will be from 11am to late, and registration for the fun walk and cycle will be from 10am until 2pm. The start time for the walk and cycle is 3pm.

The Zumba team will begin warm-ups from 2.30pm.

The Ladysmith Women’s Forum, a registered NPO, is a locally-based group of ladies whose main intention is to raise funds where there is a need.
