Geezer’s Guess: the battle of the Reds… may produce a red card

Geezer reckons that Hamilton will narrow the points deficit against Verstappen at Sunday's circuit of the Americas F1 GP

Interpretation (or misinterpretation) of the rugby rules have been blamed for SA teams not faring well in the new URC championships.

The Bulls, Stormers, Sharks and Lions have all struggled in the UK. But Geezer predicts that the tables will turn when the UK teams come down south. The Sharks play against the Scarlets in Durban on November 27. “The summer sun, the home stadium (crowds will be back) and more familiar rule implementation will give the Sharks victory.”

Geezer reckons that Hamilton will narrow the points deficit against Verstappen at Sunday’s circuit of the Americas F1 GP. “Hamilton will take the crown again and then call it quits. He may even become a taxi driver in SA… Who knows, that may be his greatest challenge yet!”
Now what about the little matter of the year’s biggest football clash… Manchester United and Liverpool on Sunday?

The equivalent game last season was postponed by United fans who were furious with their team’s owners. This time, they have reason to be furious with their team’s dismal results. Liverpool are red-hot. “This kind of game will always produce a penalty, a tricky VAR call, a red card… So I am being cagey and call it a 1-1 draw.” Geezer says

Chiefs have turned around their season after the 4-0 thrashing of Chippa. The team is now eighth. “Chiefs will catch up to give Sundowns a run for their money.”

The T20 World Cup? Geezer has been pondering… “The Proteas always flatter to deceive. They play Australia on Saturday and they will win. But at the end, India will be the team to beat. Watch the West Indies too…”
