NEWCASTLE KZN: Conclusion in sight for ‘fibre feud’ case?
Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba and Sgananda Shezi are set to return to court on a series of charges today.
The ‘fibre feud’ trial is set to resume this morning in the Newcastle Regional Court.
During proceedings last Wednesday (October 13), witness testimonies and cross examinations continued. Magistrate Colditz even accompanied the respective attorneys and the State on an ‘in loco’ visit to Parkiet Street, where the assault is said to have taken place.
Today marks the final day set aside for the trial to conclude. Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba and Sgananda Shezi are expected back in court on a series of charges – the charges against Njabulo Mabaso have been withdrawn, as confirmed by his attorney, Zubair Chotia.
