VRYHEID KZN: Wasps whack their way to victory

Vryheid Cricket Club kicked off the 2021/2022 season with a ‘last man standing’ festival, followed by the 2020/2021 season prize-giving. The festival was a great success, with Wicket Wasps taking the spoils as champions. Walter was voted ‘best batsman of the festival’ and Mandla was crowned ‘best bowler’. When the festival came to an end, the following accolades were handed out for the 2020/2021 season:

Batsman of the season – Andrew Voster

Bowler of the season – Wessel Voster

Fielder of the season – Devan Aspden

Player of the season – Ashlee van den Heever

T10 champions – Wicket Wasps

T20 champions – Wicket Wasps
