ESTCOURT KZN: Shepstone Place fraud trial to begin in October

Former administrator Debbie Potgieter has been civilly and criminally charged for defrauding the facility for personal benefit

After more than two years, the woman accused of defrauding Shepstone Place Home for the Aged will go on trial.

Former administrator Debbie Potgieter has been civilly and criminally charged for defrauding the facility for personal benefit.

The criminal case, which has been in the Estcourt Regional Court, has been postponed several times since June this year.

However, current administrator Roline Vaughan says that she was advised by the prosecutor that the trial will go ahead on October 22.
