Ladysmith KZN: Man allegedly beaten to death by mob
More arrests are expected
An African male was allegedly beaten to death on Sunday (October 3) in the Matiwane area.
It is alleged that the man had been demanding entrance to a private property and that an angry mob (that grew in size) severely assaulted him after denying him entry.
Three people have been arrested so far in connection with the incident. According to Ladysmith police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan, more arrests are expected.
The arrested suspects are between the age of 22 and 29 and are due to appear in court this week.

The deceased has not yet been formally identified.
