DUNDEE KZN: Mrs Herbst eyes Teacher of the Year award
To win the coveted award though, she needs your votes
Dundee Junior’s Meliska Herbst is in the running for the prestigious Solidariteit Teacher of the Year title, but she needs your votes to win it.
Having been teaching for almost 14 years now, six of those at Dundee Junior, Mrs Herbst is a dedicated teacher who always wants the best for her students. Her passion and dedication caught the eye of judges and she was soon shortlisted in the Top 20 of the competition from over 2 000 nominations.
To win the coveted award though, she needs votes, with voting closing tomorrow, October 1. The top ten will then be invited to a gala evening in Pretoria on October 5, where the winner will be announced.
