Ladysmith KZN: Road sign blocks motorists’ view of robot

It's an accident waiting to happen...

A road name sign in Murchison Street is causing havoc for motorists who frequent the CBD on a daily basis.

The sign, at the intersection of Princess and Murchison Street, has been put up directly in front of a robot.

The sign is now completely blocking motorists’ view of the robot, so that they can’t see the lights changing.

“How could the people who put up the sign not see that this would be a big problem?” asked one incredulous motorist.

The motorist added that if someone is not carefully watching the other robots, an accident could easily happen.

“I hope they move the sign to an appropriate place so it’s not a dangerous obstruction that could possibly lead to a fatal crash.”
