DUNDEE KZN: IFP pays tribute to Cllr Carelse

He has been a dedicated official who has never been implicated in any wrong-doings

The Inkatha Freedom Party in Endumeni has paid tribute to Cllr CJ Carelse, who sadly passed away recently.

In a special statement released to the Northern Natal Courier, the IFP said it was with great sadness that they had learnt of the passing of Cllr Carelse, who was representing the IFP in the Endumeni Municipal Council.

“Cllr Carelse’s contribution as a loyal citizen of Endumeni is well known by everyone, since the old days of Glencoe Municipality. He joined Endumeni Local Municipality as an official during the amalgamation of Glencoe and Dundee Municipality. He has been a dedicated official who has never been implicated in any wrong-doings,” said Xolane Msezane, the IFP chairperson of the Endumeni Constituency.

“He became the councillor in Endumeni Local Municipality during the Local Government Elections in 2016 and represented the IFP with dignity and integrity. We owe a debt of gratitude to him and we express our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

“Endumeni has lost a tireless leader and a person of integrity. We pray for his wife and children during this difficult time of bereavement,” he added.

May his soul rest in peace.
