Ladysmith KZN: 1 dead in horror crash on N11

The N11 heading towards Newcastle is currently closed after a van and a car were involved in a fatal crash this afternoon (August 28).

The crash claimed the life of one person. It has been reported that other occupants of the vehicles were injured and rushed to hospital.

Police and ambulance services responded to the scene. The forensic department is currently still on scene, carrying out an investigation.

The deceased has not yet been identified. 

Motorists travelling on the N11 towards Newcastle are advised to use an alternate route.
