Willie out-fishes all at Dundee Angling’s monthly competition
Special congratulations to Andre Theron who received his Gold Honorary colours for service to the Union and Pop Theron for receiving Gold colours as a KZN Official.
The monthly Club competition was held at Chelmsford dam on August 9. Eight anglers participated and 15 fish were weighed in.
Results as follows (point system):
Seniors:
First – Willie Viljoen 112.2
Second – Martin De Jager (snr) 78.05
Third – Cyprian Mdunge 28.75
Juniors:
Ruben Kenchenten 74.05
Penkoppe:
Lune Viljoen 39,2
Bianca Viljoen 25.30
Willie Viljoen also won the pooled prize for the biggest Carp of 3.150 kg.
The KwaZulu-Natal Freshwater Bank Angling Union held their annual prize giving on Saturday August 8 in Ladysmith.
