VRYHEID KZN: Little ones enjoy a special treat
This was one of many events and it is their way of saying 'thank you' for the support of their customers
Inkululeko Children’s Home is bearing the brunt of the current Covid-19 pandemic, since they are unable to host their normal fund-raisers. Fortunately, there are a lot of Good Samaritans in the community who enjoy ‘giving back’. Last week Wednesday, McDonald’s spoiled all the little ones at the Home with a meal, juice, a toy and balloons. McDonald’s opened their doors in Vryheid at the beginning of the year and one of their goals was to give back to the community. This was one of many events and it is their way of saying ‘thank you’ for the support of their customers. The children were not used to this very special treat and at first they were uncertain, but once they had a taste, they munched up the burgers and chips with glee. It was indeed another blessing for Inkululeko Children’s Home.
