DUNDEE KZN: Brentford FC get a proudly South African sponsor ahead of Premier League season

Hollywoodbets is proud to announce its front of jersey sponsorship of Brentford FC

English Premier League newcomers, Brentford FC, will face off against London rivals, Arsenal in the first game of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

While many South Africans already have their favourite English team, this season there’s more reason to keep your eye on the beautiful game as Brentford will be proudly sponsored by South Africa’s own, Hollywoodbets.

“Leading South African Sports Betting Operator, Hollywoodbets and West London outfit, Brentford Football Club are set for an exciting debut on football’s biggest stage, the English Premier League (EPL). Known as ‘The Bees’, Brentford had a stellar 2020/21 season in the Sky Bet Championship and have duly earned the right to compete against some of the strongest teams in world football.

“Hollywoodbets joined Brentford FC’s remarkable promotion campaign in November 2020, with its logo appearing on the back of all official matchday jerseys. Coinciding with the launch of The Bees’ sleek new kit for the upcoming season, Hollywoodbets is proud to announce its front of jersey sponsorship of Brentford FC. This marks an exciting step for Hollywoodbets, making them the first South African sports betting company to appear on the front of a Premier League jersey,” a statement from the company read.

Brentford FC gained promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, winning the 2021 Championship Play-off final. They beat Swansea 2-0 thanks to goals from start striker, Ivan Toney and attacking midfielder, Emiliano Marcondes.

Ivan Toney.

Ivan Toney will be hoping to have another strong showing this season following his record breaking haul last season in which he scored 31 goals for The Bees.

Brentford FC will play Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Brighton and Wolves in their first five Premier League games.
