ESTCOURT KZN: Female law enforcement officers make their presence felt [GALLERY]

Officers worked in sync to make the roadblock a success

To celebrate Women’s Day, an all-female crew of law enforcement officers descended on Estcourt today (August 9).

Hosted by Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality, women from the local traffic department, Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI), police from various stations, health care workers as well as the military were part of the Women’s Day celebration.

The women met at the traffic department in Loskop Road for a briefing before they made their way to Harding Street for a roadblock.

Motorists were pulled over, their information and documentation verified and some vehicles were searched.
There were also some fines for traffic violations given.

Officers worked in sync to make the roadblock a success.

Thereafter it was back to the traffic station where an afternoon of messages of support, handing out of gifts and lunch followed.
