A resident says she thinks the pole was hit by lightning
It has been over six months now that a streetlight in Farquhar Road has been ‘out of order’.
A resident in the street says she thinks it was hit by lightning.
Ever since, residents have been reporting the issue, hoping that the municipality will come and fix it. However, no repairs have been carried out to date.
“At first, it was working even though the pole was broken. But to add insult to injury, the bulb was then stolen and that was that,” said the concerned resident.

The municipality was contacted for comment, but have not responded as yet.
