Ladysmith KZN: uThukela investigates as parts of town are left without water

The engineering team is aware of the issue and workers are investigating

Residents of Rose Park, Chisty Place and parts of Aloe Park have been without water for three days already.

Many people have complained about the matter and reported it to uThukela, but to no avail as yet.

Speaking to uThukela District Municipality spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, he says the engineering team is aware of the issue and workers are investigating.

The team has so far checked the pumps at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant and everything is in order, with the pumps working at full capacity.

They are currently inspecting the main water supply line from the plant towards the area to see if there is a leak along the main line.
