ESTCOURT KZN: Covid-19 vaccine roll-out is proceeding efficiently

35-year-old Nosimilo Hadebe said: "If you are eligible to get the vaccine, go for it"

Estcourt Hospital commenced with Covid-19 vaccinations for people aged 35 to 39 on July 15, running concurrently with the 50-to-59-year-old programme.

The turnout at the different vaccination sites has been positive. However, according to hospital public relations officer (PRO) Zandile Gamede, many eligible people are yet to be inoculated.

Nosimilo Hadebe, a 35-year-old, was yearning to get vaccinated. She was in good spirits after getting the jab and said: “If you are eligible to get the vaccine, go for it, as it is the only way to curb the spread of this deadly virus.”

“Estcourt Hospital is doing its utmost best to take the vaccine to the people, hence different vaccination sites have been opened to improve accessibility to the people,” said Mrs Gamede.
