VRYHEID KZN: Miniature Tour de France comes to Vryheid

The 21 days of the Tour de France (TDF) ended on Sunday and so did our own TDF 10% challenge we took upon ourselves here in Vryheid. Cycling every day the TDF cyclists were competing, we cycled 10% of their distance on our mountain bikes here in Vryheid. It might not sound like much, but it was quite a challenge to get on our bikes day after day, especially in these challenging times. Well done to everyone who kept it up and made it… and thank you to the wonderful community of Vryheid for keeping us safe and allowing us to do so. This past weekend, we celebrated life once more with long rides through Vryheid’s single track plantation and jeep tracks – enjoying the sunshine and the warmer midday winter weather.
