Ladysmith KZN: Security company vehicle crashes while pursuing looters

The driver was not injured

A Wise Training Centre vehicle was involved in a crash on Friday (July 16) while pursuing looters in the CBD area.

Rushing to a looting scene in Illing Road, the security vehicle suffered a blow-out and crashed into a gate.

Fortunately, the driver did not sustain any injuries.

Many businesses in Ladysmith were affected by the protests and looting that took place across the province last week.

Illing Road was a hot-spot and one of the areas that was placed on high alert, as butcheries and shops were stoned and targeted by looters.
