Ladysmith KZN: Crematorium totally destroyed by looters
The windows were shattered and rooms set on fire
The Ladysmith Crematorium, situated in Cemetery Road (main road leading towards Steadville), is completely destroyed after looters demolished the venue.
The windows were shattered as violent protesters struck.
The rooms and offices leading towards the back of the crematorium were set alight, leaving black soot and ash all over the floor.

The community of Ladysmith is heartbroken, as they regard the crematorium as a sacred place.
