VRYHEID KZN: Cyclists warm up for upcoming Pongola race

It is cycling season and cycling mania, with the Tour de France in full swing and the excitement rolling over to us, even though we are mountain bikers. Getting on a bike and pedalling every day is just such a privilege. It’s still too cold and dark for morning rides, so we are cycling mostly in the afternoons and enjoying the warm winter sun. Weekend cycling is great, as we have more time to ride further and enjoy our single tracks.  

Our Pongola cycling friends have an 85km road race coming up in early August and we spotted some cyclists on thin wheels recently. This is great! We are looking forward to a great road ride in the warm Pongola weather.
