Ladysmith KZN: MEC for Education officially launches Mkhamba Primary
The MEC, together with officials from the Department of Education, had a walk around the school
On Tuesday (June 29), KZN MEC for Education Kwazi Mshengu officially launched Mkhamba Primary School, which is located in the Mkhamba Gardens area of L:adysmith. The MEC, together with officials from the Department of Education, had a walk around the school as part of Operation Siyahlola, which seeks to monitor teaching and learning in schools.

The MEC lauded the work done at this school, stressing that this is the kind of school that government will be building going forward. He continued that this school is equipped with modern technological equipment so that it can keep up with the demands of the fourth industrial revolution.
“We are planning to build 54 schools within this financial year. Some of them will be renovated, as modernised teaching accessories will be introduced,” said Mshengu.
