NEWCASTLE KZN: SAPS need assistance finding suspects wanted for damage to property

Newcastle Detectives are looking into a case of malicious damage to property that occurred at Vergeelegen Farm in Newcastle on June 29..
The complainant alleged that a group of people came to the farm and burned down a shack, telling him to leave, according to Lizzy Arumugam of the Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications office.
“The complainant, who was watching over cattle, extinguished the fire before contacting his employer and informing him of what had happened,” she said.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
The police investigation is still on-going, and anyone with information should contact the Newcastle SAPS on 034 3146158 / 59.
