ESTCOURT KZN: Truck bursts into flames on the N3 [VIDEO]

Fire fighters rushed to the scene of a truck fire on the N3 southbound near Wagendrift Dam this morning (June 1).

Shortly after 7pm, reports of the fire were received by the emergency centre and Inkosi Langalibalele Fire and Rescue as well as the Umtshezi Fire Protection Association were despatched.

When fire fighters arrived on scene, the truck was off the road and engulfed in flames.

The teams managed to extinguish the fire, while protecting the adjacent farmland from catching alight. The cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries were reported.
