NEWCASTLE KZN: Charity cyclists raise an astounding R108K for leukaemia patient
The MTBers managed to raise a total of R108 000, which was handed over to the Breedt family on Saturday, May 8.
The Derailer MTBers have become a force to be reckoned with in the community.
The group of charity cyclists have committed themselves to making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate and have subsequEntly cycled their way into the hearts of the community.
The most recent project, to raise funds for 9-year-old leukaemia patient, Chiquita Breedt has exceeded even their expectations.
The event, which took place this past weekend, culminated in the group reaching an incredible fundraising milestone of R108K, which was presented to the Breedt family in an emotional social gathering at the Newcastle Club.
