Ladysmith KZN: 2 killed in suspected taxi-related shooting in Bergville

Two people were killed this afternoon (May 5) in a shooting incident in Bergville.

Unknown suspects opened fire outside the Anglican Church in the town.

The shooting is believed to be taxi-related, as a taxi association meeting was taking place at the church.

Police and emergency personnel rushed to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.

Aside from the two fatalities, one other person is believed to have been injured.
