NEWCASTLE KZN: Acting MM makes unplanned visit to local airport
A municipal delegation addressed allegations and talked about the future of Newcastle Airport.
Following last week’s article in the print edition of the Newcastle Advertiser on bids being opened for service providers, to operate scheduled flights and run fuel services at Newcastle Airport, an impromptu site visit took place on Monday afternoon.
Acting Municipal Manager, Vish Govender and other municipal officials set out to address concerns about the state of the terminal building and to discuss plans for its future.
The Newcastle Advertiser was invited to be present during the visit and questions from the media were answered.
