DUNDEE KZN: Eagles and Lions to do battle in T20 final

Ace Eagles and Pakistan Lions booked their place in the final of the T20 Night League after victories against Predators and Jihadees respectively.

Ace Eagles vs Predators
Ace Eagles batted first and were bowled all out for 82. Fakhar top scored with 30 from 23 balls while Ali chipped in with 14 from 27 balls. They were the only two batsmen to reach double figures. O’neil and Shawn took 3 wickets a piece while Johan took 2 wickets.
In reply, Predators fell just short of the mark, making 79-9 from their 20 overs. Udeshan top scored with 30 from 42 balls while Aqeel made 16 from 20 balls. Ali was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/19 while Ashraf, Imtiaz and Zaheer all took 2 wickets each. Thanks to a fine bowling display, Ace Eagles won by 10 runs.

Pakistan Lions vs Jihadees
In the other semi final, Pakistan Lions booked their place in the final with a comprehensive 49 run win. Batting first, Pakistan Lions were bowled out, with one ball to spare, for 117. Adeel Ahmed top scored with a run-a-ball 39 and Henry Liversage chipped in with 21 from 27 balls. Yusuf Jeewa was exceptional for Jihadees in the field. He took 4 wickets for only 22 runs from his 4 overs, bowled 1 maiden over and even took a catch. Zeead also impressed taking 3 wickets for 21 runs from 2.5 overs.
In reply, Jihadees were bowled out in 14.3 overs for only 68 runs. Only Labeeb Adams (15), Hamza Abdullah (15) and Yusuf Jeewa (11) got into double figures. Every Pakistan Lions bowler took a wicket in a very disciplined performance in the field, however, Ahsfaq Mohammed and Nathaniel Benjamin impressed most, taking 3 wickets each. 
Pakistan Lions ran out winners by 49 runs and booked a spot in the final against Ace Eagles.
