NEWCASTLE KZN: Shooting reported on the N11 near Durnacol
The victim is speculated to be either a local farmer or a government official.
One person has been shot and killed, during an incident on the N11 near the Durnacol turn-off earlier today.
According to information received, the shooting appears to have taken place sometime this morning. The victim’s white Ford Ranger was reported as being seen at the roadside from as early as between 8am and 9am.
It remains unclear if the driver of the bakkie is a local farmer or a representative of government.
Emergency services and members of local law enforcement are in attendance. However, SAPS could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
