Ladysmith KZN: 1 person injured as vehicles collide in Peacetown

Last night (March 30), a State vehicle (Toyota Avanza) and a private vehicle (1400 bakkie) were involved in a head-on collision in Peacetown.

EMRS and police responded to the scene.

Peacetown residents rushed out of their homes to see what had happened after hearing a loud crash and screeching metal. 

The driver of the bakkie was badly injured and rushed to hospital. The other driver was unscathed.
