Here are the matric pass rate statistics for the top performing schools in each ward
The three wards that encompass the schools within Estcourt and surrounding areas are known as Emtshezi, Loskop and Ntabamhlophe.
The Department of basic Education in the Uthukela district has provided the following matric pass rate statistics for the top performing schools in each ward.
Emtshezi
1. Gannahoek Intermediate – 89,5%
2. Weenen Combined – 84,5%.
3. Vukasekusile Secondary – 77,8%.

Ntabamhlophe
Hlathikhulu High School – 94,3%.
