DUNDEE KZN: Battlefields Fly-In about to take off
An amazing variety of aircraft are expected
After a hiatus in 2020 due to the severe lockdown restrictions, the Battlefields Fly-In will take off from May 7 to 9.
This will be the 21st event of its kind at Battlefields Country Lodge and the Fly-In has developed into one of the ‘must-see’ events on the local social calendar.
Pilots and their flying machines, from around the country, are expected to land at the Lodge from early on the Friday morning.
The Lodge will host a Chinese braai in the evening, with a chance to see the famous battlefields from the air on the Saturday.
There will also be game spotting, leisure flying, and a chance to chat to the pilots and even ‘’catch a ride’’ in one of their machines.
A lamb on the spit will close the evening, including lots of fun and chatting about the day. There will be more leisure flying on the Sunday.
