Ladysmith KZN: Praying to honour our front-line workers

The prayer will be for nurses, ambulance teams, health workers, teachers and police personnel

A mass multi-faith prayer to honour front-line workers will be held this afternoon (Friday, February 12) at The Square shopping mall at 2.30pm.

The prayer will be for nurses, ambulance teams, health workers, teachers and police personnel. Religious, hospital and education dignitaries will be present.

Admission to the prayer session is free.

The progamme for the day is a ‘welcome’, followed by prayer from Pastor Petse (Family Grace Church), prayer by Hindu Pundit Krish Maharaj, prayer by Dr Wilfred Msomi, an address by Brigadier Bantham, prayer by Moulana Shamim Ahmed, an address by Miss Bridget Painter, a vote of thanks by Wendi Aberson and then the closing.

All front-line workers and members of the community are invited to attend the prayer session to honour all our heroes who do so much during the pandemic.
