KZN Vryheid: Municipality closes due to positive Covid-19 cases

AbaQulusi Local Municipality (ALM) subscribes to the regulations governing the screening and testing of the Covid-19 virus. ALM has identified 21 cases in the municipality and therefore, all municipal offices will be closed from today (January 13) with immediate effect, and will re-open on Monday (January 18). This is to allow for fumigation and deep cleansing of the offices. All essential services will continue to operate as usual, with minimal personnel on the ground, to ensure that basic services are rendered to the community. Other employees will work from home to ensure that service delivery is not hindered.
