NEWCASTLE: Mayor leads the pack to #JerusalemaDanceChallenge (VIDEO)
Employees from the Newcastle Municipality and the Department of Social Development committed to their own health and wellness recently.
More than 200 municipal employees and employees from the Department of Social Development (DSD) participated in a health and wellness day recently.
The event was hosted in collaboration with the MEC for Social Development in KwaZulu-Natal, Nonhlanhla Khoza and employees were put through their paces at the Newcastle Farmers Hall, participating in aerobics classes, expert talks in health and the globally popular Jerusalema Dance Challenge.
The event was a celebration of workers and aimed at improving their productivity and to encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
