A passerby made a grisly discovery in Mimosadale on October 24 evening when a man’s body was found.
Estcourt police were notified and arrived at the murder scene at about 8.30pm.

“On arrival, they found a male victim who was covered with a blanket. The officers noticed that he was not breathing and had been stabbed with a sharp instrument in the chest. Ambulance staff certified him dead at the crime scene,” commented police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
A murder case is being investigated and no arrests have yet been made.
