Two men have appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on charges of possession of drugs after they were arrested on September 21.
The pair was arrested by Estcourt police who stopped a vehicle after they became suspicious about the occupants.
“The vehicle was driven by a male who was with a friend. When police searched the vehicle, they found pieces of drugs in their possession. It is suspected to be rock (crack cocaine),” commented police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
Both men were detained at the Estcourt Police Station and appeared in court the following day for a bail application.
