Ladysmith KZN – Police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi has confirmed the death of a Besters-based police officer. Although the cause of death has not been confirmed, it is believed that Sergeant Mahendra (Dal) Nair collapsed while on duty on Monday (September 21) and sadly passed away.
The police have not released any more details.
The funeral took place today (September 24) at the Ladysmith Crematorium at 9.30am.
