Ladysmith KZN: Stolen goods found stashed in warehouse in Illing Road

3 suspects have been arrested

Ladysmith KZN – Police, working jointly with Magnum Security personnel, recovered stolen goods stashed in a warehouse in Illing Road.

The goods had been stolen from a local company. It is believed that employees at the Ladysmith-based company were stealing the goods from the factory, which were meant to be delivered to clients. The workers instead stashed the goods in a warehouse in Illing Road.

Yesterday (September 9), police and security personnel raided the warehouse.

28 stolen fridges, 27 microwaves, 16 air-conditioners, kettles and washing machines were recovered.

“Three suspects aged between 36 and 66 years old were arrested. They face theft and possession of stolen goods charges,” said Ladysmith police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi.
