Murder Mayhem shocks Dundee

Murder mayhem has struck Dundee after three murders were committed over a span of five days.

Murder mayhem has struck Dundee after three murders were committed over a span of five days.
The first murder was committed on May 2 on the Dundee/Helpmekaar road, near the Phelandaba race track, where a man was brutally assaulted with a pair of pliers and sustained serious head injuries.
He was robbed of his cell phone, a USB and money. The robbers also attempted to steal his vehicle but left it after they had difficulty starting it.
Four quick-acting police officials, Detective Warrant Officer Nkabini, Detective Constable Mkhize, Detective Constable Moloi and Constable Ndlela apprehended three men in connection with the murder. Thokozani Sibiya, Nkosinathi Nkabinde and Themba Mkhize appeared in the Dundee Magistrate’s Court on May 6, and will appear again on May 20 for a bail application.
The police officials initially had very little evidence to work on as they did know much about the victim, or his killers, nor were there any witnesses.
However, after working tirelessly, it was discovered the victim had been seen with a friend at Siyabonga Tavern on the night of his murder. Upon investigation, the first accused was arrested. He was found with the pair of pliers allegedly used during the assault and bloody clothing.
The second accused was arrested shortly thereafter and was found with the USB allegedly stolen from the victim. The third arrest followed shortly. The second ‘murder’ (which is yet to be confirmed) was committed on May 7. The decomposed body of Thulani Reginald Mazibuko, also known as Blondie, was found adjacent to Dundee Junior School.
His body was discovered sometime after his death and decomposition had set in, making it difficult to ascertain whether it was murder or natural causes. The case is being investigated.
The third murder was committed on May 9. According to Police, a quarrel broke out at the Kallies Stadium during the Winter Challenge.
A man was chased towards Forestdale where he was viciously assaulted by the mob. He was rushed to Dundee Hospital and was treated for severe head injuries and broken legs. He later died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
