uThukela appoints auditors to assess water meters in the district
Teams of 2 will be visiting every property to gather data
uThukela Acting Municipal Manager Mr Khoza has issued a media statement to inform Ladysmith residents that they have appointed Marothosi Metsi (Pty) Ltd to carry out assessments on water meters within the district.
Auditors will be visiting every property to gather data from water meters.
If your water meter is installed outside your property, the auditor will not need access to your property.
“We humbly request that you grant the auditor access to the water meter,” reads the media statement.
The audit team will consist of two people. Firstly, there will be an auditor, who will be using a reflector jacket and will always have his identity card which will have his name, identity number and photo in colour. The second person will be his assistant, who will assist him in ‘exposing’ the water meters, and will also be wearing a reflector jacket. There will always be two people in a team.
