1 blood donation can save 3 lives
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the demand for blood has increased
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) in Ladysmith is pleading with the community to please donate blood at this time, during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, when it is needed the most.
The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic is situated at San Marco Centre and needs you all to be ‘heroes’ fighting for a good cause.
“Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the demand for blood has increased, especially plasma products. So I want to encourage people to donate blood and save lives, as one donation can save three lives,” said clinic supervisor Zikhona Lupondo.

Zikhona added that they have winter promotions for all blood donors who have committed themselves to donating four times during the year 2020.
