Covid-19: Mpilonhle Project helps underprivileged families
"This is a time for us as South Africans to practice the spirit of Ubuntu"
Mpilonhle Project donated food parcels to the families of underprivileged colleagues on Friday (June 12) to help ease the effects of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Mpilonhle Project is a non-profit organisation (NPO) dedicated to improving health and social development in South Africa.
“Children’s Emergency Relief International (CERI) sponsored us with food parcels to donate to our colleagues who are struggling. We are doing our bit to assist underprivileged families during these trying times. This is a time for us as South Africans to practice the spirit of Ubuntu, which means having humanity towards others,” said Mrs Zwane, who is a director at Mpilonhle Project.
