Local hunk stands a chance of being the next Mr South Africa
Good-looking and easy-on-the-eye Mdumiseni Blessing Hlubi is in the top 60 of the competition
A ‘dashing dude’ who grew up in a township just outside Ladysmith is now a semi-finalist in the Mr South Africa 2020 competition. His name is Mdumiseni Blessing Hlubi, originally from Ezakheni C2 Section.
This good-looking and easy-on-the-eye 28 year old is in the top 60 of the competition, where he will be competing against other handsome guys for the title of Mr South Africa 2020.
A Ladysmith Gazette reporter recently conducted an exclusive interview with Mdumiseni…
“At first, I took up modelling as a hobby, not knowing that someday I would travel the world because of it. I had friends who motivated me and I started taking part in modelling competitions in 2014. Seeing that I was doing exceptionally well, I decided to enter myself in the Mr South Africa competition in 2015. I didn’t do very well, but I never lost hope, explains Mdumiseni.
He continues that, “I’m again a contestant in Mr South Africa 2020 and a semi-finalist because I believe in myself.”
