School hosts virtual sports run with students and families

There was lots of support from all over the country, and Namibia

Drakensberg Boys Choir School held its inaugural Drakie Dash on Friday, May 1. This was also the first day of level 4 lockdown, where exercise is permitted outside people’s yards between 6am and 9am.

The virtual event (Drakie Dash) encouraged participants to run / walk / ride a distance of 2.5km / 5km / 10km, entering by way of a R50 donation to the school.

There was lots of support from all over the country, as well as Namibia, from current and past families, current staff members, and several extended families and friends.

The participants received a virtual medal.
